I grew up watching entirely too much TV— or so my parents say.
That love of consuming media turned into a love of creating it. In my career of 15+ years, I have edited commercials and content for brands such as Disney, Allstate, Adidas, General Mills, and McDonald’s, as well as a feature documentary for Netflix and a docu-series for Amazon.
Born and raised in the far west suburbs of Chicago, I moved to the city proper while attending film school. At school, I found a love for editing short-form content, as well as sound design and motion design. I entered the professional world of commercials shortly after graduating.
For me, editing is like a really great puzzle: it’s the perfect blend of creative and technical problem solving. I appreciates a good plan but also love solving unexpected problems.
Though I never pursued photography professionally, I never gave it up as a hobby. It’s a fun, stress-free creative outlet. I’m free to experiment and explore and enjoy the process of capturing the world in different perspectives. No clients. No agenda. Just me.
My other hobbies include playing reading, bowling, video games, making music, and eating new foods.
And old foods.
